2021 NAMIBIA, AFRICA PHOTOGRAPHY SAFARI

Erindi Private Game Reserve  |  NOVEMBER 30 to DECEMBER 7, 2021

The Best Photography Safari in Namibia, Africa

Photography Expedition in Southern Africa in the incredibly diverse country of Namibia. Namibia is home to one of the highest concentrations of cheetahs in Africa and some of the best wildlife rehabilitation & reintroduction programs in Africa.

Namibia is one of the best places in the planet to photograph wildlife in their natural element.

If you have never been to Africa before, Namibia is one of the best countries to start in. There is low crime rate, luxury options and standards, credit card accepted just about everywhere, fantastic food, and incredible culture and people.

Not only this, but you will not need any vaccines to travel here and there's an easy visa on arrival.

If Africa has been on your list of places to travel to, to go on safari then this is it. Chase and Jenni will guarantee your satisfaction of the tour and will aid you in booking flights and help with any logistic concerns. We have spent just shy of 5 months at Erindi Private Game Reserve and in Namibia, so we know it very well!

One of the biggest issues when booking a photography safari in Africa is the high cost in relation to photography opportunities. We can eliminate your concerns and uncertainties right away and tell you, Erindi Private Game Reserve has the quantity and quality wildlife photography experiences you're looking for.

We go on safari each day in the early morning and late afternoon to get the best light with the best positioning.

Artica Studios has expanded to Africa and we would like to answer a few questions you may have:

"What is the best thing about our Namibia photography safari?"

Is is the ease of booking and support from us? No stress bookings and our Covid-19 guarantee?

The luxury lodge accommodations full of wildlife and tropical vegetation?

The special photography permit access that is included so we can drive anywhere?

Is is the ability to locate any specific wildlife we are interested in? To ensure you get your shot?

Is it the small group and one on one professional photography instruction in the field and with editing?

The endless food buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner?

It's hard to say what is the best about our Namibia, Africa photo tour but we invite you to join us and for you to tell us what you enjoyed the most.

Wildlife Safari Plan:

Erindi Private Game Reserve has an incredibly diverse collection of free-roaming wildlife for the exception of buffalo.

What you can likely expect to see is:

  • Lions

  • Cheetahs

  • Leopards

  • Elephants

  • Giraffe

  • Painted dogs / African wild dogs

  • Plains game like zebras / springbok / wildebeest

  • Potential for pangolin, bat eared fox, cape fox, brown/spotted hyena, jackal, owls

Our goal with this photography tour is to get the best wildlife images as possible with the best lighting conditions so we have the ability to go off-road, to difficult to get to locations in order to find the specific wildlife that we decide for that safari drive.

There are plenty of animals at Erindi Private Game Reserve which is the largest private game reserve in all of Southern Africa.

Photography instruction will happen both formally and informally. In a group setting, it's best to have questions asked on an individual basis so we can help each client and guest appropriately.

This trip is mainly focused on our off-road private access to all of the wildlife and this is a special photography tour as the animals that we will be searching for will have locations as they have some collars for wildlife safety, anti-poaching and rehabilitation programs.

We will teach you how to edit out collars in photographs if the particular wildlife encounter has a collar.

Please note, that although collars are annoying to have in photographs, they also allow us the best viewing opportunities and probabilities. So if we want to photograph a leopard, we will find a leopard and the same goes for cheetahs and the rest of the wildlife. For animals like lions, elephants it's hardly noticeable.

Frequently Asked Questions: Artica Adventures

Are you tours just for photographers?

Answer: No, not at all! Our trips are approximately 50/50% split of photographers and non-photographers. These trips are called photo tours as Jenni and I are instructing photography lessons hands on while we explore and sail. We have non-photographers (with iPhones, etc), beginners to expert photographers on our trips. It's the perfect learning grounds where you get to immerse yourself in nature and be surrounded by great people.

Why Artica Studios Adventure Photo Tours vs. Other Tours?

Answer: Jenni and I are so passionate about our tours we take small groups that are more intimate where we can connect with each one of our guests. We also pride ourselves on taking you to these remote locations that are extremely difficult to get to and otherwise unaffordable. Our tours are never over-priced as we want you to have a life changing experience and for you to share your experience (and photos) with family and friends and for them to be able to afford to have their own Artica Adventure experience.

Our tours are not just photography workshops, they are life changing experiences that will shape you as a person. Whatever your current understanding is of photography, our workshops will help you improve in a variety of areas, including composition, editing, business acumen, personal style development, work flow and more!

We are looking for positive, like-minded people to join our trips as it is most often the people who make the experience and everything else is just a bonus. We love animals and the environment and we care deeply about creating inspiration and action to help make the world a better  place.

Let's fall in love with the African wildlife together

What if COVID impacts our tour?

Answer: Don't fret, any deposits or full payments will be protected in that if your specific tour is postponed due to these circumstances, then you're automatically rebooked at no extra charge for the following year. Read the full details here
